For educators who care about young adolescents

Queensland Edventures is a conglomerate of three of Queensland’s most respected providers of Outdoor Education, bound together by a common philosophy of “constant innovation” in Outdoor and Experiential Education.

Queensland Edventures’ philosophy seeks to achieve the following for every event and program they host:

·        Growing Wonder: Helping students find their place in the world and responsibility towards it.

·        Growing Community:  Using the transcendence of time spent together to build better relationships and enhance existing community.

·        Growing Creativity: Helping students find their passion and purpose so they can be a gift to the world.

Whilst physical place is incidental to the benefits of a well-constructed Outdoor Education program, Queensland Edventures is responsible for some of Queensland’s premiere facilities.

CYC Burleigh is a first rate choice for groups looking for proximity to the beach and all the Gold Coast has to offer.  The world famous Gold Coast is one of the most sought-after beach destinations on the globe and CYC Burleigh is just a few minutes’ walk away from both beach and creek.

The Higher Ground Group has over 20 years’ experience delivering experiential learning through outdoor activities. Higher Ground operate three Outdoor Education Centres in the Mary Valley – the heritage-listed Kenilworth Homestead, Tuchekoi Outdoor Education Centre and most recently Mary Valley Resort.  Higher Ground are also one of the largest providers of journey-based programs in sought after locations, such as Great Sandy National Park.

Established in 1927, Queensland Conference and Camping Centres (QCCC) operates four Outdoor Education Centres in Queensland.  QCCC Tamborine (Mountain Campus) has 300 beds and tent-camping options whilst QCCC Brookfield (Urban Campus) is one of few options for schools accessing the delights of Brisbane city.  QCCC Mapleton (Adventure Campus) is in the mountains of the breathtaking Sunshine Coast Hinterland and QCCC Outback is a frontier campsite on St George’s Lake Beardmore.

Queensland Edventures provide a huge range of programs for local, interstate and international schools.
